Choices & Consequences Course

DETERRING OFFENDING

This training is part of the court diversion scheme, designed for first time offenders of VAWG related crimes to deter offending, or further offending, in relation to sexual violence and harassment. The course offers an alternate to court time, as a form of rehabilitation attached to a conditional caution. We work in partnership with the police and court diversion teams to refer perpetrators to this course.

VAWG RELATABLE CRIMES: Stalking, harassment, sexual Exploitation/Assault, forced marriage, domestic violence, low level sexual touching.

Course Logistics:

HALF DAY COURSE – 10-2PM

The attendees pay £250 for the course and the money collected goes to directly support women who are victims of sexual violence.

We organise the venue and any interpreters needed for the course.

We can have a maximum 8 men per course.

Course Subjects:

Sexual exploitation & prostitution

Understanding women and their backgrounds, leading to vulnerabilities

Consent & Boundaries

Relationships and listening skills

Understanding the consequences of choices (offence analysis)

Anger management and wellbeing skills.

We also offer bespoke training for related issues specifically requested by professionals in responding to victims of sexual exploitation and violence as a result of their involvement in prostitution.
