Our Trustees
Sarah Robb
Sarah graduated from Oxford Brooks University in 2015 BA Honours in Social Work. She started her career in children’s social care and has since moved into the charity sector. Sarah now leads a pan-London project which works with migrant women that have experienced gender-based violence. She continues to work in a frontline role and also an advisory capacity for both the charity and statutory sector within this field of work. Sarah has many years of frontline experience working directly with women who have been involved in exploitation and prostitution.
Sarah continues to practice as a social worker within her current organisation and as a qualified Practice Educator.
Since she was young Sarah has been passionate about social justice and now with a wealth of experience behind her, she hopes to use what she’s learned for the benefit of Streetlight.
Naomi Bell
Naomi has a MEng in Aeronautical Engineering and an MA in Expert Teaching and has spent the last 10 years working as a maths teacher and teacher educator, both in central London and now Bedford.
Having spent her career working in areas with high levels of social deprivation, Naomi understands the importance of charities such as Streetlight to safeguard the most vulnerable people in our communities, to provide them with support and empower them with choices. Naomi currently works for a Bedfordshire based Multi Academy Trust supporting teachers to develop expertise which enables them to become more effective in the classroom and carry out their challenging roles sustainably. As a member of the HR subcommittee, Naomi will be passionately advocating for the Streetlight staff on the front line, whose work is so vital for the people Streetlight supports and to Streetlight in achieving its aims.
Davina Irwin-Clark
Davina was a clergy wife for 40 years, in varied parishes from Huddersfield to Brighton. In that role she met and cared for people in every sort of need and crisis, those with faith, and those with none.
Some were a brief encounter, some moved in to live in the Vicarage. Davina is a past chair of Women in Mission, a trainer and public speaker, whose great joy is to encourage. She was the High Sheriff of West Sussex in 2020, and as such had extensive access behind the scenes in police and social work, prisons, safe houses, rehab places and with countless charities. This was eye-opening, tough, inspiring and unforgettable, just as Streetlight’s work is, so Davina feels privileged to be involved as a trustee.
